Introduction
As a residential-cum-affiliating State University at Lodha, Aligarh, RMPSSU offers UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes across Agriculture, Arts, Commerce, Education, Science and Law. The university maintains a Wi-Fi enabled green campus, central library, hostels, sports facilities and research laboratories serving students of university departments and affiliated colleges across western Uttar Pradesh.
Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University (RMPSSU), Aligarh is a residential-cum-affiliating State University at Lodha on Palwal Road, about 8 km from Aligarh city. The university conducts teaching, research and extension through its own departments and affiliated colleges across western Uttar Pradesh.
Our Namesake — Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh
Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh (1886–1979) was a freedom fighter, journalist, social reformer and pioneer of education who worked tirelessly for an independent India. The university is named in his honour to carry forward his vision of accessible, quality higher education for the youth of Purvanchal and beyond.
The university motto Satyam Vada Dharmam Chara (speak the truth, follow righteousness) reflects the ethical foundation of academic life at RMPSSU.
